Commercial grade outdoor restaurant chairs are usually stacking or folding. Many restaurant use their outdoor spaces seasonally. Most of them will have to move everything indoors at night after closing. Stackable outdoor restaurant chairs are ideal for easy overnight storage. Folding chairs are usually better but it is not easy to get commercial strength out of most folding chairs. Restaurants usually are very careful on the furniture they choose because of liability issues.
