Its cover isfitted, fully valanced polyethylene cover and it is 100% waterproof with advanced engineered, triple-layer and rip stop fabric features.It is also uv treated inside and out with added fade blockers, anti-aging and anti-fungal agents and has 50+upf rating blocks more than 98% of UV harmful rays.The upf represents ultraviolet protection factor and indicates how much of the sun's radiation is absorbed and 50+upf is the highest fabric rating for radiation exposure. ıt has only 2% of the UV rays will penetrate through the shade fabric. Its twist tite™ tensioning squares up frames and tightens down covers.

Product seems to be built more for shade than Rain and wind. Poles just slide together with no quick release fasteners to keep them together. I used once for camping and when the Rain and wind came the poles came apart and thus everything crashed down. Not to happy with this purchase.
