Pole has two pieces. Umbrella has a heavy-duty crank. Umbrella top has 6 ribs. Fiber glass ribs have molded nylon joints and end tips. Fiberglass patio umbrellas withstand high winds and resistant to harsh weather. Umbrella stand sold separately.

Was too small for table and chairs, I ordered the 9ft. which fits perfectly for 42 inch table. Due to the return shipping cost I will keep and use elsewhere.
