Classic Flyer snow sled from Mountain Boys is tough, with thick kiln-dried planks of beautiful northern birch and extra-thick powder-coated steel runners. Sled features stainless-steel bolts, and have incorporated the pivot-front design of Ultimate Flyer to increase the sled's turning power. I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my 8 year old grandson. He lives in the Minnesta. I live on the west coast and know nothing about rail sleds. I knew I wanted a special sled that he could use for years. My son reports it is a high quality, great performer and beautiful. (My daughter in law wants to hang it in the 3 season porch.) They also reported it was easy to assemble. It arrived in a timely manner and was well packaged. His Grandpa called it the Cadillac of sleds. I would purchase again.

After years of cheap plastic sleds, I wanted to upgrade to a better and safer sled. The steerable classic flyer is AWESOME! My six-year old son and I are the envy of the hill. I love how well and easily it steers. The only complaint came from my little boy..."Daddy can you slow down; this sled is too fast!"
