Its cover is made up of polyester fabric cover with full valance and closed end design. It has uv treated inside and out with added fade blockers, anti-aging and anti-fungal agents and waterproof treatment with double stitching and polyurethane inside lining. The 50+upf rating blocks more than 98% of UV harmful rays. The upf represents ultraviolet protection factor and indicates how much of the sun's radiation is absorbed.The 50+upf is the highest fabric rating for radiation exposure. There are only 2% of the UV rays will penetrate through the shade fabric. The cover quickly attaches with high quality hook and loop and buckle down straps at the corners. It has a CPAI-84 Section 6 Compliant for Fire-Rated Rating.
