I didn't realize this one is smaller by one set of "holes", if you will, so it is considerably narrower. I also didn't have the foot hole at the bottom on the other one, and decided I didn't like it as well because I often use it as a space to put a book as I paddle out into the lake. It also feels 'thinner" than my original one. I hope it lasts as long, but I doubt it.

The detached arms make the cup holders useless since they easily turn over. And there is a seam right in the middle of my back that is not good. Sorry, I wouldn't recommend these.
