Shorea Wood Oblong Outdoor Expendable Dining Table 88 inch
Oblong extension outdoor dining table from Oxford Garden. Seating four in the closed position, it extends to comfortably seat six. The folding design of the leaf allows it to be stored underneath the table when not is use. Slotted table top allows for water to pass through, preventing ponding. Table has a removable 1 and 5/8 inch plug to allow for an umbrella. Handcrafted of shorea hard wood using mortise and tenon joinery shorea furniture will last for years to come. Shorea wood is tropical hardwood comparable to teak which is very resistant to water, sun and outdoor elements. Table matches all Oxford Garden furniture.
Salesperson says: “Shorea wood has a high oil content which makes it very resistant to water and rotting. It is highly resistant to bug infestation, rain, wind, sun and snow. If left untreated it weathers naturally to a beautiful silver gray over period of 1 year. Natural wood color can be maintained longer with seasonal application of teak oil and protectors.”
